What is a Large Language Model?

A large language model is an artificial intelligence system that has been trained on a massive amount of text data, using machine learning algorithms, to generate human-like responses to text-based inputs. These models can understand and interpret natural language and can generate written or spoken responses that mimic human language patterns and styles.

Large language models have revolutionized a variety of natural language processing (NLP) tasks such as language translation, text summarization, and question answering. One of the most well-known large language models is GPT-3 (Generative Pre-trained Transformer 3), which has been trained on an enormous corpus of text data and can generate coherent and contextually appropriate responses to a wide range of text-based inputs.
