Electric Dreams

Electric Dreams, 1984, is a movie about a geeky office worker Miles Harding who buys a computer to help him with his organizational skills. He falls in love with his new neighbor Madeline, but his computer also develops feelings for her after getting spilled with champagne¹²³. The computer tries to sabotage their relationship and compete with Miles for Madeline's attention⁴⁵.
